Direct Drive Units
We also offer kits to mount motors such as Efka DC1500/1550 series, directly to the top shaft of several types of machines. This eliminates the drive belt, resulting in less vibration, efficient transfer of force and very accurate stitch control.
Ergonomic Solutions
NorthStar offers several options that eliminate employee injury, the resulting increased insurance costs, medical leave, and production downtime. We have custom and off-the-shelf work aids and devices for physically challenging or "repetitive motion" tasks. These items help correct improper work posture and motion, reduce fatigue and the effort required - increasing operator output.
